Feedback

Following properties of Structural Columns and Structural Framing elements are exported from Revit to FEM-Design along with the geometry of the Analytical Column or Analytical Beam element:

  • Section / profile
  • Material*
  • Release conditions
  • Eccentricity (only of beams)**

* Only the Structural material is exported. Read more in Material.
** Read more about the eccentricity export rules in Eccentricity.

Slanted columns in Revit can be exported to struxml and read in FEM-Design, but a message at the export will appear (both in the Export dialog and in the Export Report) in order to warn about slanted elements in the model.
